Milina is located about 50 km from Volos. It is a very popular place for vacations  and offers nice beaches and remarkable natural surrounding. In Milina the visitor can relax during the day in one of the cafes that are situated by the seaside and of course have a nice evening in the nightclubs of the village.

 Just accross the village of Milina is located the small island of Alatas. At this island exists the monastery of Agioi Saranta and used to live there just one person, only to take care of the monastery and the various animals of the island. Anyone can visit the island if he has a boat.

 In about 15 km towards the coast and with direction south you will be able to discover a marvelous location which is called Tzasteni or Jasteni, where the tourists always stop for just  to take  a photo of the scene.

 For a trip we recommend to vist Trikeri a  traditional village at the south east coast of Pagasitikos Golf. Trikeri is located 35 km from Milina. At the small port of Agia Kiriaki you can enjoy fish or lobster at the 2 taverns, which are famous for the delicious seafood that they offer.

 If someone takes the road to Alogoporos 6 km before Trikeri he will have the oportunity to go to the Island Trikeri by Taxi boat. The small Island belongs to Trikeri. Cars are not allowed to the island.

 Location of our house in Milina: The house is located on the road that leads to Lafkos. From the church on the promenade turn left and to about 300 m at the right side of the road can be reached our holiday home. All shops are in a walking distance away. The sea is reachable at about 300 m.
